Pie Crust - 101

I took every pie crust recipe I could find. I tested, tweaked and experimented until I had found the perfect pie crust. I call it the "Perfect Pie Crust" and it's perfectly easy to make. Now I'd like to share it with you along with techniques for rolling out the dough and several of my favorite pie fillings. Plus, as a bonus, we'll learn what to do with leftover pies (should you have some) on the day after!

I'm a wife and mother. My 4 kids call me "Mom" and my 8 grandkids call me "Nani". Well, the ones old enough to speak, anyway.

I love my home. Not because it's grand or modern or professionally decorated, but because it's mine. It reflects me, the things that I like and who I am. It's comfortable.

My favorite place is in the kitchen. Baking, cooking and preparing food for family and friends is what I enjoy. Best of all, I love doughnut day; a Chirstmas tradition when my children and granchildren gather around the kitchen to make and decorate homemade, delicious doughnuts.
